- UniCare Health Insurance offers dental options that meet the important need for good oral health. It was not until a friend of mine, whom did not have dental covergae, that I realized how my UniCare Health Insurance was so very important to me. My friend did not have health insurance plan that covered dental and ended up with a costly procedure needing to be done, that she just could not afford. Had she had UniCare Health Insurance she would have paid just a fraction of the cost of the procedure. Not only that, but UniCare covers 2 annual cleanings each and every year that could have prevented her costly procedure in the first place! Regular dental care is important to your overall health as well. I do not think enough people realize this. UniCare makes it clear to their members that oral health is an essential part of health and wellness. Research continues to show that there are links between periodontal disease and some very serious health conditions, which include osteoprosis, heart disease, stroke, low birth weight pregnancy, respiratory infections and diabetes. UniCare Health Insurance gives UniCare memebers access to quality care , a wide range of dental services, no waiting periods for preventative, diagnostic and basic care (the yearly deductable is even waived for the preventative services). UniCare gives UniCare members freedom to choose any dentist. Of course if you choose one of UniCare’s contracted dentist you will have substantial savings. UniCare even provides a dentist referral service free of charge if your current dentist is not contracted. This was great for me since my dentist was out of network. All I had to do was call the UniCare Dental Service Name, give my doctors information and UniCare did the rest and before I knew it my dentist was a In Network dentist on my Unicare Health Insurance plan. My friend now has her own UniCare Health Insurance plan and takes advantage of the wonderful benefits as I do and she never stops thanking me for introducing her to UniCare Health Insurance plans.
