UniCare Health Insurance recently released a totally redesigned and improved secure member website that streamlines access for UniCare’s members personalized health and benefit information.
The changes make navagation much more user friendly. It requires few more clicks for the UniCare memeber to navagate to specific health information they need. It requires only a single log-in to access personal health information. Much of the customer service can easily be handled directly via the internet elimanating the need for calling in for customer service support.
UniCare’s idea is that making members information readily available, giving them more control, will prompt members to seek better and more cost sufficent health care.
The website utilizes the already exisiting Unicare website, which offers a up to date look at members personal claims activity. This gives members a greater advantage, being able to track health care expenses. UniCare members can order extra or lost identification cards, print online benefit statements and find physicians and hospitals in their area. UniCare has also partnered with WebMD, which allows members to access the worlds largest online medical library.
All of these online services give unlimited information at the members fingertips. This allows them to keep track of cost and expenses. Saving them tons of money! It is convenient and easy to understand, helping the UniCare members stay informed and up to date.
In today’s day and age of the internet UniCare is always improving their tools for members and agents. I am sure we can look foward to many more changes to the devolepment to Unicare’s website, as well as their products.
